ultimate guide to: walt disney world

If you are reading this then that probably means you are planning a trip to Walt Disney World! Or you love Disney as much as I do and just want to read about it! This blog post is very similar to my ultimate guide to: disneyland… except that we are talking about Walt Disney World!

What to Wear to Disney World

Similar to Disneyland/California, Orlando doesn’t really have much of seasons… they have humidity and rain… literally it could rain at any moment even if the sun is out! So if this is your first time going to Florida, just know that lol! In my ultimate guide to: disneyland I based the outfits on the weather, but in this blog post, I am going to show you cute outfit ideas for each park!

What to Bring

Now moving on to what to bring, I will give you a full list of what I believe are the essentials to bring with you!

  • A comfortable back pack or fanny pack that fits all of these essentials
  • ApplePay or wallet that is easy to find
  • Reusable water bottle
  • Sunscreen
  • Chapstick
  • Advil/ibuprofen/whatever you need for headaches
  • Bandaids
  • Hair ties/scrunchies
  • Portable charger (or you can purchase a FuelRod at the park. It is a onetime $30 fee but you can replace it with a full battery at the kiosk at any of the parks!! Very convenient! I’ve had mine for years!
  • Umbrella or poncho
  • Comfortable shoes
  • And of course your favorite accessories!

Top 5 Must Ride Rides

So I’m going to pick one ride from each park so these are based on my opinions but would I steer you wrong? Also, I’m going to do one popular one and one hidden gem… so I guess in the end this is more than just 5…

Magic Kingdom: I absolutely love the People Mover… such an easy ride but so nice and relaxing so I definitely recommend it. As for the popular rides, I will say Pirates of the Caribbean and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train – although, I have only rode the Mine Train once but it is very popular.

Hollywood Studios: I love myself a good Tower of Terror scream! Will always always always be my favorite ride. As for hidden gem, is Toy Story Mania a hidden gem? Let’s just say it is. Lastly, Rise of the Resistance… I have not yet gone on it but I can only dream about how amazing it is!

Epcot: Journey Into Imagination With Figment! Hidden gem, such a fun and cute ride – do it! As for popular ride, Frozen Ever After… you just have to though.

Animal Kingdom: I really enjoy Kilimanjaro Safaris. It is nice to take a ride and see animals! It really feels like you have escaped to Africa. Another ride I went on recently that I thought was very unique was Flight of Passage.

Must See Must Do, & Must Eat

Let’s talk about what you must see, do, and eat… Well, everything! But clearly, you can’t do that in one trip so let’s prioritize. The fireworks and parades are always a priority, so however you have to plan your trip – plan accordingly because you don’t want to miss out!

Something very cool about Disney World is the resorts. Disney seriously has the most beautiful and unique resorts I have ever seen! If you can try to fit in the time to at least monorail, ferry or skyline over to any one resort, you wont regret it!

Below I have an image of must see, must do & must eat for each park so feel free to add any of these into your trip! Just remember to do what YOU want to do in order to make it the most magical trip 🙂

One of my favorite things about going to the Disney parks is how every single time you go, it is always a new and different experience – but always the best day ever! I kid you not. I hope this helped you a bit in your planning process!
